We are committed to giving our audience high-quality, original and relevant content and we value creativity as an organisation.
Equally, we must give our audiences content made to the highest editorial and ethical standards. Their trust depends on it.
Whilst the majority of the articles published on Smileo are researched and written by our editorial team or board of GDP advisors, we welcome article submissions from registered dental and facial aesthetic practitioners as we are always interested in further insight from our practitioners, intelligence on specific treatment types, or useful tips that can be shared with our community.
The following guidelines should help you understand the sort of articles that work best on Smileo.
By submitting articles through Smileo and getting those publised on our site and social media platforms, we allow you to show our audience of patients and potential customer how knwoledgeable you are about a specific topic and showcase the amazing work you have done.
Content should be of topical interest to our members e.g. in-depth explanmation of specific treatment types, tips on how to keep a good oral health, comparison of different product types, before and after cases for specific treatments, etc.
Writing articles on Smileo is a great way to start a conversation around a topic you're specialised in, in order to position yourself as a thought leader in the industry. Start a debate in the community and get the audience engaged by sharing your ideas and thoughts.
You shouldn't submit articles just for links, but we're happy for contributors to add links to their own site and social media profiles. We give all authors a contributor signature at the top of every article and those on our Gold contributor package are also featured on our contributors page - where you can have a 100-word bio with links to your website or social profiles (but no sketchy anchor text: all signatures follow the same format, and we editorially control them).
Below is a list of tips if you want to become a contributor on Smileo.
